"Surely, those who believe, and the Jews and the Christians and the Sabians, whoever have faith with true hearts in Allah and in the Last-day and do good deeds, their reward is with their Lord, and there shall be no fear for them nor any grief."  Qur'an 2:62

Stephen Suleyman Schwartz: Why I Serve As Executive Director of CIP!

Urgent Bulletin on the Crime in Samarra, Iraq, 24 February 2006

Center for Islamic Pluralism Executive Director Suleyman Schwartz, writing from Zagreb, Croatia, on the occasion of the issuance of a declaration for moderate Islam among European Muslims, expresses the deep outrage and concern of the Center against  the Wahhabi terrorism that produced the destruction of the al-Askariyya shrine in Samarra.

The thoughts and prayers of all moderate and traditional Muslims, Sunni as well as Shia, are with our Shia brothers and sisters in this hour of tragedy.  Wahhabi terrorism will be defeated in Iraq and throughout the world.  Of this there can be no doubt.
